SEBI Grade A Postponed Official Notice
Advance intimation for the captioned recruitment exercise was issued on March 14, 2024. As per the aforesaid advance intimation, the link for submitting the application through online was originally scheduled to open on April 13, 2024. It has now been decided to postpone the same due to the schedule of the impending General Elections. The fresh date for submitting of Online Application will be intimated in due course.

EBI Grade A Eligibility Criteria and Age Limit:

Educational Qualification: The educational qualifications vary according to the post applied for. Check the list below for stream wise educational qualifications
For General
Master’s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma (minimum two years’ duration) in any discipline; Bachelor’s Degree in Law/ Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from a recognised university or institute or Chartered Accountant/Chartered Financial Analyst/ Company Secretary/ Cost Accountant.
For Legal
Mandatory– Educational Qualification – Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a recognised university or institute.
Desirable Experience – Two years of post qualification experience as an advocate (including as an associate in an advocate’s or solicitor’s office or law firm) after being enrolled under the Advocates Act, 1961 (25 of 1961).
For Information Technology
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering in any branch or Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with a postgraduate qualification (minimum two years’ duration) in computer science/computer application/ information technology from a recognised university or institute.
For Electrical Engineering
Mandatory – Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognised university or institute.
Desirable Experience –
(i) Working knowledge of electronic systems like CCTV surveillance systems, Addressable Security Alarm and Fire Alarm systems, EPABX, UPS systems, etc.
(ii) Experience in maintenance of lifts, pumps, air-conditioning plants, etc.
(iii) experience administering construction projects in all its aspects and knowledge of PERT/CPM techniques.
For Research

SEBI Grade A Selection Procedure:
There will be three stages to the selection process. Phase I will consist of two online papers for the examination. Those who clear the first round will go on to the second round, which will also be conducted online and consist of two papers. Those who clear Phase II will be called for an interview.

Candidates are required to pay the application fee, which varies according to the category:
General/OBC/EWS: Rs 1000 + 18% GST
SC/ST/PwBD: Rs 100 + 18% GST

The pay scale of officers in Grade A is Rs 44500-89150. The current gross salary in Mumbai, at the lowest end of this scale, is approximately ₹1,49,500/-per month without accommodation and ₹1,11,000/-per month with accommodation. This includes SEBI’s contribution to the National Pension Scheme (NPS), Grade Allowance, Special Allowance, Dearness Allowance, Family Allowance, Local Allowance, Learning Allowance, Special Grade Allowance, etc.
